Texas TSA and the National Service Project
Through involvement in TSA’s national service project, chapters can be integral in helping to support the mission of the
American Cancer Society (ACS): to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer.
Chapters are encouraged to learn more about TSA’s national service project with the American Cancer Society. For further information, you will be redirected to the ACS website, a third party site not owned or managed by TSA.

The Texas TSA State Officers will host a Miracle Minute for ACS in the First General Session. For one minute, the donation boxes will be passed through the audience to collect donations for ACS. The goal is to collect funds for ACS research and to match or exceed the donations obtained in the Florida and Virginia State Conference's Miracle Minutes. As an added incentive, we are challenging Chapters to begin now collecting loose change around their community and campus. Place those donations in an envelope with the amount, name of the school and the name of the Chapter Advisor on the envelope. Place donations in the collection box during the first general session. The chapter with the largest donation will receive an award.
